St Basil’s provides planned residential respite care in all our facilities.
We provide the activities, social programs, accommodation, nursing, meals and laundry that are tailored to meet the individual’s diverse health, physical, cultural, psychological, and spiritual needs.
Each of our aged care facilities is different. Each of them has their own character, flavour, buildings and cultural mix of people. Therefore it is important to visit each facility and see for yourself.
However, most importantly you probably want somebody to talk to about all these difficult decisions. We are here for you. Give any of our centres a call and we will do our best to give you all the information you need and to answer all your questions.
Remember, there are many different types of aged care services. There is permanent residential care where you live in one of our aged care facilities. There is temporary residential care, where you live in one of our residential aged care facilities for only a few weeks. There is in-home care, where we send nurses to you in your home. There are day centres, where you can drop in for the day to enjoy the company of like-minded people, share a hot fresh meal and participate in socialisation and other activities. Most of these are partly government funded in one way or another, so it is important to give us a ring and find out what might be best for you.
